Portfolio Reports

The Portfolio Reports generated here display the statistics on utilization\performance of various loans that were given out to clients in a selected period of time. The report is based on the parameters that are selected, e.g., the Loan Sector, Size, Duration, Frequency and Sex.

To get here, go to menu Loans\Portfolio Reports\Analysis Reports\Portfolio Reports. The screen looks as follows:

• Active Loans Only: When this option is selected, the Portfolio Report will display only the loans that have outstanding balances as on the reporting date.
• Choose the Report you want: Scroll in this box to choose the actual portfolio report you want to generate. E.g. LPF Report per Sector for Individual Loans as shown in the screen above. This is in order to have a portfolio report that gives statistics of the loans given out to various sectors. E.g. Agriculture, Industry etc. The sectors are set at Support Files/Business Sector.
• Loan Fund: From the drop down box, select a particular Loan Fund that you want to generate a portfolio report about. This may be to get statistics on utilization/performance of the selected loan fund. The Loan Fund is set at Menu System/Configuration/Funds. In the example, "Check if for all Funds" option is checked, this is in order to have portfolio report on all funds that are available in the system/organization.
• Loan Size Categories: When you click on this button, a screen like the one below appears:

Set the range of loan size (amounts) that are to be classified for each group. In the screen above the First Category Portfolio report will display details of loans that are less than 100,000 for individuals and 50,000 for Group clients etc.

• View: If you want to look at the soft copy (on your computer) of the Portfolio Report, then this option should be selected.
• Print: If you want to get a hard copy (i.e. on paper) of the Portfolio Report, then this option should be checked.
• Report PDF File Format: Select this option if the report to be generated is to be displayed in portable Document File Format.
• Report XLS File Format: Select this option if the report to be generated is to be displayed in Excel File Format.
• Report DBF File Format: Select this option if the report to be generated is to be displayed in Database File format.
• All Pages: Check this option to print all the pages of the Portfolio Report.
• Pages: You can select a specific range of pages to be printed for the Portfolio Report. (This is only possible when you have chosen the print option otherwise it will be read only if you had checked the View option).
